ORS UK is a successful office furniture business situated in Burton on Trent. Due to the continuing growth of our business we are now looking to recruit 2 people to work in our busy Transport Department and Warehouse. If you enjoy working as a part of an excellent team, are not frightened of hard work and are physically fit then one of these could be the position for you!
As part of our expansion and progression programme, the following vacancies are available.
Class II Driver Fitter Porter
You must be licenced to drive up to an 18T tonne vehicle, and have a minimum of 6 months driving experience. This role will involve being a big part of our busy clearance teams so will involve lifting and carrying furniture but will also include the installation and building of office furniture when required. Our clearances and deliveries are nationwide.
Warehouse Assistant Fitter Porter
This role will involve being part of all of the teams. Working alongside our Warehouse Manager you will help with the maintenance of warehouse stock as well as finding, identifying and picking product for the sales teams and for customer collections and assisting the delivery teams to pick their product for their deliveries. You will also have the opportunity to be part of the delivery and clearance teams out on the road taking part in installations and clearance works nationwide.
Experience of building flat pack furniture is a bonus but not necessary as full training will be given as part of the warehouse assistant role. The role involves lifting and carrying furniture so you must be physically fit and not afraid of hard work.

As part of the transport department, you will be working as part of an experienced team carrying out deliveries, installations and clearances of new and used office furniture, servicing our customers nationwide. The role involves carrying, dismantling and re-assembling the components of furniture into and out of buildings and loading vehicles so being able to build our furniture from flat packs is a must.
